AFL5, the Third Strike

TB is back...again!

Yes, folks, he's back for a third shot at the AFL crown! Hopefully, I'll be able to work hard enough to push him to the top, or at least to the semi-finals!

There's a lot of changes, so I should probably get those out of the way first!

Firstly, Angela finally realized that having small, thin, easily dropped and incredibly unstable P.O.W. pencils for weapons was stupid. TB finally realized that running around mid-battle with a piece of flammable cloth strapped to his face while holding said unstable pencils wasn't particularly smart either. And Drake finally realized that he's never going to make it into AFL, at least not without blackmailing, drugging and/or maiming TB. And with that out of the way, we move on the important stuff.

TB's new gear for this tournament is the latest in P.O.W. tech, his slick new battle suit, which Eva named The Third Strike Crusher!

The fashion aspect was designed by Eva, including the symbol on the pants made as tribute to the late AngelCrusher, and built by Angela in the Watkins' Laboratories. The suit is designed for simplicity in use and abilities, and munverability in combat.

P.O.W. TSC Suit - A battle suit that seems strikingly similar to TB's regular wardrobe, this outfit acts as the primary battery to the whole suit. The energy that powers the gloves and shoes is radiated from this suit. The suit is made with a new carbon-fiber compound, making the suit stronger than steel, but lightweight and breathable. It can pretty much stop most bullets by itself. Of course, the battery is a bit unstable, and has been known to set cloth (or anything, really) on fire. Which is another reason that TB decided to leave his headband home.

P.O.W. Gloves and Shoes - These operate similar to the first-generation P.O.W. pencils, allowing TB to temporarily create any hand-held weapon or item he can think of. The shoes can do the same thing this time, allowing TB to create attachments on his legs and feet as well. As expected, this gear is slightly more stable than those first-generation pencils. Which isn't saying much, considering that "stable" for those pencils was another way of saying "I hope you don't need that arm."
